Sky Close is the founder and principal broker of 44 Street Retail, LLC., a business centric commercial real estate company of one focused exclusively on tenant and buyer representation. The world of real estate is often dominated by the acquisition of listings; however, Sky found his niche of working directly with business owners. In the 10 years Sky has been in the CRE industry, he has represented a multitude of start-ups, nationals, international companies, local businesses, and mainland businesses to secure viable retail, restaurant, and industrial locations. He has had the privilege to work with a diverse mix of businesses such as resort retail, street retail, breweries, restaurants (small and large), auto body repair shops, food manufacturers, wholesalers, tattoo salons, hair salons, nail salons, spas, lawyers, cafes, and even cat hotels. Along the journey, Sky successfully negotiated leases with nearly every resort hotel in Waikiki and shopping mall on Oahu, as well as many other shopping centers and independent owners More recently, Sky has ventured into land acquisitions and continues to grow in that sector.
