Seth has spent his career counseling clients in the areas of entrepreneurship, law, and corporate matters. As a business consultant and law expert, Seth is steadfastly dedicated to creative problem solving, presenting candid advice and risk assessment, and exhausting every possibility. From entrepreneurial and emerging ventures to capital structuring, cross-border transactions, intellectual property strategies, scaling and expansion, and business exit planning, Seth has journeyed with clients through every critical stage of the business cycle.
Seth loves the Asia Pacific region, and has traveled there extensively. Seth's sojourns include legal studies (at La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong) and working for law firms in Hawaii, Australia and China. While working abroad in complex cross-border transactions, Seth learned firsthand the critical importance of blending legal analysis into cultural, practical, and financial strategies. Seth has held business law seminars and lectured throughout the Asia-Pacific region, including here at home as a guest lecturer at the University of Hawaii at Mānoa. While in China, Seth published several articles on the 2008 Financial Crises and Chinese commercial law and practice.
Seth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Marketing, and Graphic Design, an MBA from Chaminade University, and a Juris Doctorate from the William S. Richardson School of Law at the University of Hawaii. He served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable Robert J. Faris and Honorable Lloyd King for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Hawai‘i before working as an attorney at several prominent law firms in Honolulu. Previously, he was appointed by Rick Blangiardi to serve as Chair of the Honolulu Liquor Commission.
